So this is it. Tonight is the big finale of the longest Venture Bros. season (or pair of half-seasons) ever. It's been a long time coming. A bit of a departure from our previous season finales in a lot of ways, but I won't go into that for fear of spoiling...

This is a bit of an experiment, this hour-long thing. And for the record, we can't thank adultswim enough for letting us expand our creative horizons and make this thing. For us, it was a very liberating experience and helped salvage our souls from the ravages of a difficult season to produce.

A lot of extra time and love went into this episode, from everyone involved (thank you, VB crew!) We certainly hope you enjoy it...and we'll be checking in with you every commercial break to make sure you do.

More news soon...

We Love You,

JP

Awesome.

Season 5 will be lethal.

Jackson, Doc.

Thank you for everything.

Each finale is better than the last, and each time it gets a little harder to wait in between seasons. Sigh....

The whole season was astonishing, but those last few minutes were the most perfect tv ever.

That was great! Let me be the first to offer you an Action Man as my way of thanking you. I'm sure you and Doc can give each other Rusty Ventures while I figure out the logistics.

There are those who say you can't go home again.

To them I say that I just saw Brock Samson running toward a mutant bug thing with a bowie knife.

Thank you for that.

Really dug the structure of the episode, much more personal pathos and a bit less raw action, but it wrapped up in a crazy satisfying way with some redemptive moves by a lot of characters. Seems like that was something about having the whole hour to stretch out, and not needing to build the cliffhangers and resolution of a two-parter?

I've often felt like the Venture Bros. is one of the few T.V. shows with creators who truly respect their fans, and tonight proves it. Thanks for your love. We love you back. And I'm hopeful for a season 5.

The sequence with 21 sobbing into drunk!Orpheus' chest was the best thing I'd ever seen in my life.
...
Until I saw the rest of the episode, that is.

Seriously, thank you both so, so much for this show. Love you, too. <3

That was the best season finale I have ever seen, and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.

Thank you guys so much for making Venture Bros.! ♥ Watching the show always brightens my day.

Here begins the season 5 speculation (too soon?)

Did Molotov really die? It wasn't as definitive as Henchman 24's head landing in 21's. Will General Treister's body find some aliens to cure him of cancer? What will Hunter Gathers do as the new OSI head honcho? What is Gary going to do now that he's quit as one of The Monarch's henchman? And probably more that I am forgetting!

And this the end of 24 completely? I know there was complaints that it was hard to do his voice and that 24 and 21 are only good as a duo. Is this the end of 21 too?

So, so, so fucking epic.
I would call it a return to form, but the back end of this season has been near perfection. Can't wait for season 5

You guys have really made this show your own, and I feel tonight's episode really showed that off. While Season 3's ending felt derivative of Season 2's, and sort of an attempt just to top it, tonight was completely different.

For a while it seemed the Venture Bros. didn't seem to know whether it wanted to become its own show, or be trapped in the 70s cartoon parody it had begun as. And while that parody is still there, it's taken on its own life. This is a great direction.

I was actually tense through most of the episode, at the same time that I was cracking up at the humor. Those final scenes... the abstract weirdness of the space shot... you guys have created something all your own. Dean actually being assertive? Craziness. Thanks guys, tonight's finale was tremendous.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for creating this show. Thank you for bringing this into existence. Television has never made me so blissfully happy. I love you.

I don't think I can fully put into words how amazing it was to hear a song from one of my favorite bands be part of another one of my favorite things.

The finale was beautiful. Thanks for a great season.

When I watch the way the show has grown and improved, it makes me so proud of you people. This episode was perfect, I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for all that you guys do so well, and please don't stop too soon.
