I made a "buttercream-frosted murdercake" for my girlfriend's birthday because she loved that line in your final episode so much. It wound up being very tasty. Here's a picture.

My interpretation of murdercake contained near-toxic levels of nutmeg and a spicy cinnamon filling between layers that got some great reactions.

I did some random voices over the course of the season and then I helped out with a little bit of writing on the last couple of episodes.

I loved the Superjail pilot, so I am very excited about this!
Maybe you can clear somthing up for me? A freind and I were talking about it, and we noticed that the animation style reminded us of the music video for Radiohead's Paranoid Android. After he mentioned that, it started bothering me, because I wanted to see if they were in fact related. I haven't been able to find out much of anything about it on the web, other than the fact that the Radiohead vid was done by Magnus Carlsson. Is there some influence there, or overlapping staff or somthing, or am I just imagining things?

I couldn't tell you for sure, but I'm pretty certain that Magnus guy was from the Netherlands or something, and that Christy Karacas was still in art school when that video was made.

I feel like king prick for butting in with this, but is there any way to know when the last few batches of Venture shirts go out?

They're being packed up now. There might still be a handful of stragglers we're waiting on (slight shortages in a specific size or something), but they're all in and making their way out the door.

I have been looking forward to this show more than anything else on TV. The pilot was absolute brilliance, everything I'd ever hoped for in a cartoon.

Not that Venture Brothers isn't great too... they've both got their own brand of humor.

I remember when I first saw the pilot. It was like having a 70's flashback. Here's to hoping it does well. I'm hoping Drinky Crow does well too when it airs.

Sadly, I was none too impressed by Superjail's pilot when it first aired. And when Adult Swim sneaked the second episode on April 1, the show still hadn't grown on me. I can't put my finger on exactly why it doesn't work for me, but it may be that it seems to be ultraviolent just for the sake of being ultraviolent (which is what also sunk Korgoth of Barbaria for me).

I'll give it at least one more shot because I believe every new Adult Swim show deserves three chances to prove itself, but I'm not optimistic.

It's certainly not for everyone, and it's very very different from The Venture Bros. And yes, it's ultra-violent. But, to me, the violence is so adorably strange and idiosyncratic that I like it. It's like watching the doodles in Napoleon Dynamite's loose leaf binder get in a fight with a Marcel Dzama painting while Dr. Seuss referees.
