Does anyone know the song title in the episode "Are You There God, It's Me Dean" in the scene when his friends are lined up to console him after his surgery? I know the score is all done by J.G. Thirlwell, but I don't know the song title. The song is a pretty cheery, upbeat, bubbly song. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!

It wouldn't do you any good to know the song title because the song isn't available anywhere--it's an original piece composed by J.G. exclusively for the show, as are all the pieces he's contributed (with the exception of the pilot episode's music, which was all licensed stuff from his Manorexia, Steroid Maximus and Foetus albums). Plus he gives his files weird titles that only mean anything to him.

I mean, if you're just dying to know what it's called, I could go pop in a DVD, listen to the song, and figure out which file it is, but really...it's not available anywhere else because it was composed for the show.

Awww that sucks! Actually, if you could actually find out the song title, I'd feel complete. Anyways, do you think there are plans in the future for a VB soundtrack? That'd be cool.

J.G.'s given us that particular piece under two different titles in the past. "Kiddin Play" and "Teencash," for what it's worth.

Thanks for replying! I feel complete now. :) Even though there's no way to get that song.

Just curious, is the title music used in the pilot(and all episodes hence) licensed from one of Thirlwell's albums?

It's called "Fighteous" and you can get it on the very out of print Steroid Maximus album !Quilombo!
